A car park with space for 200 cars is being built near the Social Security building, on land which was already being used as a parking area.
Works began on Monday April, 27, and according to the permit it is expected to last 240 days.
The park will count with places for cars, motorcycles and bicycles. The access will be through A Voz de Loulé street.
“This park is another step toward improving public areas in Loulé’s downtown, and it aims to reduce the lack of free parking” said Loulé Mayor Vítor Aleixo.
The construction is being carried out by José de Sousa Barra & Filhos Lda company, and it will cost to the Municipality around 435 thousand euros.
