Do you love chocolate? Don’t we all? Loulé is organizing the tenth edition of the biggest chocolate fair in the Algarve.
Installed in Cerca do Convento do Espírito Santo until Sunday, February 16th, the 10th edition of the fair comes with plenty of activities for everyone.
Although past editions took place in Loule’s municipal market, this year the organizers are taking it outdoors, right in the heart of the city in a wider area. The 10th Chocolate Fair features 27 tradespeople from the municipality, the Algarve and other parts of the country, presenting their sweet creations.
Black, white, milk, with nuts, orange, salt or pepper, in tablet, truffles, cake, pizza, sushi, or fondue, there are hundreds of different presentations created by the most respectable artisans. Given the product’s versatility, the fair also presents several chocolate products mixed with traditional foods of the Algarve.
This edition of the Loulé Market Chocolate Fair also brings musicians and an area with tables and chairs for people to hang in the fair while eating their new sweet discoveries.
This year the fair will count with a campaign to reduce plastic use. So it is expected to find glass cups, plates and cutlery made of compostable material.
The event is organized by the public company Loulé Concelho Global, and it is open from 10 am to 7 pm. Admission is free.
