The Instituto de Mobilidade e Transportes (IMT) of the Algarve has strengthened its customer service to help British residents looking to swap their driving licences for Portuguese.
Luís Goes Pinheiro, Assistant Secretary of State for Administrative Modernisation confirmed the rise in British citizens residents in Portugal seeking the Instituto de Mobilidade e Transportes’ (IMT) services in Faro.
He said the increase in demand has prompted the government to add at least 12 employees to the Algarve counter.
