Vila Real de Santo António will host, on April 4, a session to present “Portugal Inovação Social”, a pioneer initiative in Europe.
Promoted by the Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Regional, the Measure “Portugal Inovação Social” brings five million euros to finance projects of social development in the region.
On April 4, at 10 am in the Salão Nobre of the Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António, Francisco Fragoso will present the project. This activity aims to promote and explain the initiative to social innovation promotors from all the municipalities of the Algarve.
It is a pioneer project in Europe, as Portugal is the only member-state that kept communitarian funds to experiment new financial programs oriented for social innovation.
